Overview:  Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) allows you to proactively setup an account recovery method so that you never lose access to your account.  Once you setup an account recovery method, you can use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign in page in the event you forget your password.  To set this up please follow the instructions below.



1)  Open your web browser and go to accounts.bfcsaz.com.

2)  Sign in with your BFCS credentials.

3)  Click on Security Info on the left menu.



4)  Click on Add Method.



5)  Select a method you would like to set up.


We recommend the following:


Phone - Your personal cell phone

Email - Your personal email account

Authenticator App - A Microsoft app that you install on your phone to regain access to your account if you forget your password and can be used for Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).  MFA is not covered in this article.


In this example we will be selecting "Phone" as the SSPR method.


6)  Select Phone from the list and click Add.





7)  Type in your cell phone number on the blank line.

We recommend using "Text me a code"

Click Next



8)  Check your phone for the code sent to you in a text message and enter it in the dialog box and click Next.



Upon completion you should get a message saying that your phone was successfully verified as shown below.



9)  Click Done and the process is complete!
