Overview: This article details how to add authentication methods to your BFCS account. This gives your account the ability to:
- Utilize the "Forgot Password" option and reset your password without IT's involvement.
- Secure your account with Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).
Please Note: MFA is only required for sign-ins that occur outside of our network. If you are at one of our campuses and connected to our network you will not be prompted for MFA.
1) Go to accounts.bfcsaz.com and click on Update Info under Security Info.
2) Click Add sign-in method
3) Choose the method you would like to setup. You are free to use any of the options listed on the page and you only need to setup 1 method, however you can choose multiple methods if you prefer.
*Note The Microsoft Authenticator app is recommended especially if you use Google Apps on your mobile device. The mobile device will not prompt for MFA as often because the Authenticator app can pass the token onto the Google App such as Gmail since the app is installed on the same device.
